In addition to its analytic support to the Chancellor and campus administrators, the Budget and Resource Management (Budget) unit of Planning and Budget helps coordinate campus-wide budget planning as well as identifying and allocating the resources necessary for UC Santa Cruz to excel as a major research university.  These on-going responsibilities include
