During 2007-08, eight Administrative Committees will serve as an advisory bodies
to Chancellor Blumenthal and Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor
(CPEVC) Kliger on all areas related to campus academic programs
and operations.
The formal advisory committees listed below will
provide a forum for discussing issues (such policy, services, resources, and
process) with possible impacts outside the purview of any one principal officer.
These committees provide advice and recommend policy, but are not
decision-making bodies.
In addition, the Executive Advisory
Council (EAC) will act as a forum for the Chancellor and CPEVC to gather the
campus leadership team to review the campus agenda, review activities toward the
agenda, promote campus growth and community building, and set expectations for
the leadership team and the campus. The Chancellor's Cabinet
provides a similar forum in which to review issues that have an external focus,
for example, involving the UC system and the community.
For questions about the membership and charge for the
administrative advisory committees, please
contact the Office
of the Campus Provost.
