The Campus Business Operations Committee (CBOC) serves as an advisory body to Vice Chancellor for Business and Administrative Systems (BAS) and BAS process owners on strategic business directions and business policy implementation strategies and issues.  It is composed of divisional business officers responsible for implementing divisional strategic business plans and for overseeing the daily business activities of the divisions and departments.  CBOC members are expected to take a campus-wide and divisional perspectives in performing the committee's work.

Specific responsibilities include

• Serve as a key two-way information conduit between Financial Affairs, Staff Human Resource and University Business Service offices, and campus divisions and departments.

• Advice on Financial Affairs, Staff Human Resource and University Business Service general business support levels and service breadth.

• Review proposed campus business policies and provide recommendations related to their adoption.

• Assist in evaluating the feasibility of proposed strategic campus-wide business related projects.
