The Executive Advisory Council (EAC) provides a forum for the Chancellor and CPEVC to gather the campus leadership team to review the campus agenda, review activities toward the agenda, promote campus growth and community building, and set expectations for the leadership team and the campus.

Areas of focus include

• Provide a campus-wide, integrated perspective when evaluating policy recommendations, evaluating strategic choices and new initiatives/campus directions, making operational tradeoffs, and managing priorities.

• Inform central administrative planning and decision-making.

• Review the campus’ progress in meeting articulated goals, including those goals that make up the partnership between the University and the State.

Key areas of focus for EAC during 2006-07 include the LRDP, academic planning, regularization of business and IT processes, campus regional centers (MBEST and the Silicon Valley Center), State/campus budgets, and student engagement.
