Tabulations by Computed Index Score Beginning in fall 2004, undergraduate applicants and entering freshmen were evaluated on a new campus measure called a "computed index score (CIS)." This new metric is derived from academic indicators (high school gpa, standardized test scores, a-g courses completed and planned, and honors-level courses) and other factors including first-generation to attend college, high school Academic Performance Index (API) score, and geographic location. Points awarded in each area are determined by the Academic Senate Committee on Admissions and Financial Aid. Maximum CIS points possible is 8,500. Tabulated for each decile band, the tables below examine fall 2005 applicants, admits, SIRed students (those admits who accepted their offer of admission), and enrolled students. |
