Re: Fall 1997 enrollment
The fall quarter census (third-week) enrollment is officially set at 10,638; this is 423 (4%) more students than last fall. Fall enrollments include 6,970 continuing, 239 returning, and 3,429 new students. The three-quarter average for the year 1997-98 is projected to be about 10,185.
