Student Degrees
The following reports on degrees, many of which were formerly collected as part of the Fall Fact
Sheets, provide information about degrees granted by degree type (Bachelors, Masters and Certificates, and Doctoral degrees),
the degree major, and demographic characteristics of the students.
Two types of reports are available for Bachelors degrees. Students receiving degrees in combined or
multiple majors are counted as 1 in each/all of their majors in reports DC (for "degree count"), and fractionally in those
labeled HC (for "equivalent headcount"). Because graduate students do not have multiple majors, headcounts and degree counts
are equal.
Reports are separated into two timeframe categories: the most recent Academic Year; and multi-year
Historical Summaries. Information on student demographics, majors, and retention and graduation rates by student demographic
characteristics are also available on the
Student Characteristics,
Majors, and
Retention and Graduation
areas of the website.
