IRPS produces several types of student reports. The Overview of UCSC Students presentation provides a high level overview of UCSC student information (including data and summaries of applications and admissions decisions, student characteristics, and student experiences). More detailed reports and statistics related to student demographics, admissions majors, student performance, degrees awarded, and student opinions are provided in the links below.
- Common Data Set (CDS) is a collaborative effort between universities and publishers. Data provided is used as a standard set to help publishers compare campuses.
- Student Characteristics include a broad set of descriptive statistical information relating to demographic characteristics of students on the campus. Reports are provided for the fall term, the previous academic year, and longer historical views.
- Student Major Reports are provided for the fall term, the previous academic year, and longer historical views. They include summaries for undergraduate as well as graduate students.
- Student degrees information
provide information about degrees granted by degree type, degree major, and demographic characteristics of the students
who receive the degree.
- Undergraduate
admission statistics - current and historical undergraduate application, admission, and new student enrollment
reports provide summary data with additional analyses by some demographic and academic categories.
- Retention and graduation
rate tables tables describe the proportion of students who return each year and who graduate within four, five, and six years.
