The Provost's Advisory Council
(PAC) has
been replaced by the
Executive Advisory
Council; |
Better
integration, better communication.
These
groups are not meant to replace the work of advisory committees to the campus'
principal officers or other planning efforts that occur throughout the campus,
but instead are designed to ensure that the administrative and operational
issues facing the campus, both those that are ongoing and those that will
arise as a consequence of future growth, are addressed in an informed and
timely manner and within the overall context of campus growth.
The establishment of these committees nor their charges do not in any
way change the usual, and expected processes of administrative consultation
with the academic senate.
How
to participate.
In
order to foster improved communication among the individuals and groups
involved in administrative issues related to campus growth and to better
integrate those efforts, the Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor has established
a Provost's Advisory Council (PAC) and a number of
key groups:
Occasionally,
Ad Hoc Teams or Special Task Forces will
be formed to study particular issues in depth.
All
members of the campus community are encouraged to participate in these
discussions by staying abreast of activity through this web site and by
talking with members of the relevant committees.
