1. State and Non-State Funded Major Capital Improvement Projects

· MBEST Well and Irrigation System

The Committee is asked to consent to a water well and irrigation system constructed for the Monterey Bay Education, Science, and Technology (MBEST) Center in Monterey County.

· MBEST Infrastructure

The Committee is asked to consent to the construction of infrastructure for the MBEST Center in Monterey County.

3. Classroom Subcommittee Report

Presenter: Pamela Hunt-Carter, chair of the Classroom Subcommittee, will report to the ACF on the following:

· Use of campus classroom maintenance funds ($110,000 in one-time funds and $30,000 in the first year of an on-going commitment, totaling $140,000).

· Potential classroom maintenance projects for FY 2001-02 utilizing the $30,000 annual commitment.

· A list of four proposed FY 2001-02 media equipment projects identified by Media Services. An earlier version of this list of proposed projects (totaling $159,000) was presented to, and supported by, the Classroom Subcommittee on January 25, 2001. The Classroom Subcommittee requests ACF's support of this Media Services' budget request (now totaling $176,000 with the addition of b-e for project #1). See attached file.
