Academic Support Planning Advisory Committee Meeting Notes

     This year there are two new members of the Committee:

               Jennifer Shurley, Graduate Student Representative

5.  Narrative Evaluations

Lynda Goff discussed the status of Narrative Evaluations.  The Narrative Evaluations are now called “Evaluations” or “Performance Evaluations”.  Lynda stated that the outcome of the Barbara Rogoff/Bill Ladusaw report is that the campus did not go with a commercial software product for Narrative Evaluations production, but used a “home grown” product.  An “Evaluation” Coordinator is now being hired to help develop user-friendly software.  Robin Ove, Manager of CAT’S Faculty Instructional Technology Center, will assist the faculty and TA’s in using the software, which will be a user-friendly program and will reduce the level of work for the faculty.
