Long-Range Planning and Resource Allocation Process (Campus Provost/EVC
Simpson)
After reviewing the final divisional plans submitted as part of the long-range planning process, Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Simpson issued an update on Friday March 1, designed to provide feedback and put forward ideas and directions intended to provoke the campus to think broadly and strategically about its future. His update can be found at:
A framework for moving forward and issues that require more thought and discussion,
At the March 5 CWC meeting Simpson will charge the committee with providing
formal feedback on the document, and outline specific questions related to
welfare issues for the committee to address.

Strategic Communications Plan (Associate Vice Chancellor
Irwin)
Liz Irwin will present the strategic communications plan for the campus
during the current growth period. In preparation for this discussion, please
keep in mind what we have learned from the work-life focus groups and our
understanding of campus concerns.
