Meeting of April 16, 2002

The Campus Welfare Committee met on April 2, 2002 from 2:00-4:00 pm in room 481 McHenry Library.

1) Housing Priority System

Members of the Housing, Dining, and Child Care Services staff presented background on the history of the current faculty/staff housing priority policy, housing needs projections for this campus, and other UC policies for faculty/staff housing. A copy of the presentation is available here.

The committee will continue to discuss housing priority principles at its next meeting on May 7. In order to facilitate the discussion, Scott will prepare a list of key issues/questions which need further exploration, as well as some possible solutions.
