Description: The decision for the campus to move forward with a significant
technology investment in light of increasing competition for university resources
must be carefully considered. In November 2001, Larry Merkley, Francisco Hernandez
and others were asked to carefully review the progress and plans for the Academic
Information System, confirm project costs, and to re-assess the proposed project
against other options. Their
response, which is attached, will serve as the basis for our discussion.
