8:00 ITC Recommendation on Network Rate Structure

Goal: Endorse ITC recommendation

Reference: Proposed structure of the Network and Telecommunications Services Advisory Committee, Network Rates Subcommittee Report

Task: The Network Services and Rates subcommittee of ITC has completed its analysis and proposes to form a standing subcommittee of the ITC. This group will continue the work of the Network Services and Rates subcommittee, and follow up on recommendations outlined in the report with the intent to bring recommendations back to PAC within 6 months. PAC members are asked to endorse the recommendation advising approval by Provost Simpson.

8:30 Enrollment Projections

Task: Last week UCSC sent our enrollment projections in response to a routine UCOP request. The campus is projecting a three quarter average FTE of about 13,710 (includes teacher credential students in summer 2002. Discussion today will consider the implications of these projections and provide opportunity for discussion and strategy.
