The Provost's Advisory Council (PAC) has been replaced by the Executive Advisory Council; the ACF page is now found on the EAC site.
This site represents an archive of the work of PAC and its subcommittees.

Overview, membership, and charge
The Advisory Committee for Facilities is the forum where issues related to the campus' buildings and physical infrastructure are discussed.  The specific elements of the committee's charge include:

  • Recommend capital improvement program priorities
  • Formulate campus space plan
  • Advise on facilities proposals, including
    • Siting
    • Building design
    • Acquisition and lease of real property
  • Advise on the management of the campus space resource

The complete charge and membership to the committee and subcommittees is available for review.

Meetings and Notes
The next scheduled meeting of the committee will be held Fall 2004. Agendas and notes from previous ACF meetings are available.  The committee has developed general information requirements for proposals that are submitted for review or discussion.

Major issues under discussion
The following are the major issues scheduled for discussion within ACF during 2002-03.  You are encouraged to review the background materials associated with these issues and to contribute your expertise to the discussion.

Related planning activities

Physical Planning and Construction (PP&C) is undertaking a number of campus physical planning studies during 2000-01 including a campus-wide habitat conservation plan, north campus area plan, a series of campus infrastructure studies, and a siting plan for the academic core buildings.  These studies will inform a number of the ACF discussions and the PP&C web site provides the current status of each study.

Please provide the committee with your thoughts and expertise on the topics listed above or on our Feedback page or email Free Moini, the committee staff member, on any topic within the purview of the committee's charge.
