UC Santa Cruz Summary of Evidence |
In preparation for the current WASC reaccredidation
review the campus established a WASC Steering Committee in Fall, 2001.
Through communications from the Chancellor and other senior
administrators, stories in the faculty and staff newspaper, and
information on the web, the UCSC community has been kept apprised of the
reaccredidation process, and feedback has been solicited. The WASC
reaccreditation process was a major topic at the fall 2003 Chancellor’s
Fall Conference. The steering community, with input from the academic
senate and the campus community at large, has been working to develop the
campus proposal and to prepare the preparatory review portfolio. Minutes
of the WASC Steering Committee meetings are open, recorded, and available
on the web.
